We are excited to have had a great designer assisting in creating what you see here, our new logo. We are making sure scenarios of 10 to 30 cars have been analyzed in order to pick the best initial size of our fleet. This requires a good look at the patterns tourists and locals on the island. We expect to entice locals into using our vehicles when theirs as backups to their own. We expect neighboring islanders to use the cars when taking a day trip for shopping, etc. And we expect boats that dock for some time to need transport on land temporarily.
Tourists are the primary economy of the island. This fact will apply to our development as well. But we hope to benefit the native population to the point of becoming indispensable to the public. We hope to supply a new way to look at transportation. Non polluting, quieter, cheaper, and faster if we can get people to car pool, like the companies Split, iCarPool and UberPool.
Bridj is not exactly a carpool service. Its really a bus on call service. The idea of buses on call by touching a button on your phone is great. Buses are the REAL carpool device. So the more we can copy the efficiency of putting more people in fewer vehicles, the better the island will run! Just imagine if they were electric buses we shared!
